Eterna Milonga de noche - DJ Victor Fernández
Exceptional extension of the Eterna Milonga! Enjoy the city lights at the pace of tango!
Victor Fernández, painter and director of the Quinquela Martín Museum of Fine Arts in Buenos Aires, is also a passionate collector of recordings of orchestras, some are small and some are big, but all come from the whole history of tango. He hosts the milonga El Tacuarí in Buenos Aires. Switching between rhythmic orchestras (D’Arienzo, Canaro, Biaggi, Donato,...) and melodic ones (Pugliese, Troilo, Piazzolla, Gobbi,...), Victor Fernández will be offering us some atypical pieces chosen among old recordings of the first tango bands and pieces from more contemporary orchestras.
Please note: Victor Fernández will comment the visit of the exhibition "La Boca, an ideal neighborhood for art" at the Espace Saint-Cyprien on Saturday, 1st July at 4pm.
