>> Tangopostale has been navigating over the years by the river Garonne and the canals of Toulouse. This year we have the opportunity to set up our activities in new premises, an 18th century lock-house where the Toulouse cultural life is blooming – a place of encounters and exchanges.
So seize this opportunity and do come and join us on the opening night of the festival !
Doors open at 6:30 pm.
-- 1st set: Folklore --
7pm-8.30 pm - A dance show by La Floreo Duo and a music concert by the Trio Juan del Monte
An Argentinian folk dance show including Malambo !
As a guest star we welcome Rodrigo Peña, dancer, percussionist and choreographer of traditional dances. He will be accompanied by Eva Laura Madar, member of the duo La Floreo. Together they will perform traditional and contemporary folk dances adding to them a touch of modernity and joy.
A music concert by the Trio Juan Del Monte will follow, starring an Argentinian vocalist and guitarist, a French classical violonist and a Uruguayan percussionist. The concert will take us on a trip revisiting the Argentinian Folk repertoire. Dancers from the public will be invited to join in and celebrate this moment.

9pm-1.30pm - Milonga of the lock-house, with DJ CyberChris
A new place to dance Tango by the river Garonne where good vibes can be heard as far as the Atlantic Ocean ?!
-- EXPO-BANDONÉON --
A surprising itinerant exhibition set in various locations of the festival is proposed by Nelly Baron. Based on the sketches made during last year’s festival, the artist takes you on a trip in the atmosphere of Tangopostale 2021 thanks to an original and surprising Art Book: half made of a sketch-book and the other half of a bandoneon!
