Brush up on your orchestral skills and work on your musicality with Marcela Barrios and Bassem Fakhfakh!
Workshop 1 • 10.30am-12pm: One tango, one orchestra
How to dance a tango while respecting the orchestra's style, technique and musicality.
Understanding and interpreting the musical choices of different orchestras: for the same music, a different orchestra and a different interpretation.
Workshop 2 • 12.30 - 2pm: Musicality - interpretation of different orchestras
Giving your tango a soul.
How to build a logic and create a story in your dance according to the orchestra.
Workshop 3 • 2.30-4pm: Milonga
The little details in the music that make all the difference!
• Level required: intermediate/advanced
• Maximum number of participants: 15 couples
• Solo enrolments are possible, but we recommend that you enrol with a partner, as we will try to establish parity for the workshops as much as possible.
• Classes will be given in French and may be translated into English and Spanish.
