The man who invented the tango-song and made the tango rise from the feet to the lips, famous under the name of Carlos Gardel, was indeed born in Toulouse. Let's follow in his footsteps and his voice with songs, anecdotes and tributes from his home town to the man who sings better every day!
An original tour led by Solange Bazely in French (or Spanish) "In the footsteps of Carlos Gardel (1890-1935)", in Toulouse.
Passionate about Argentinian culture for 30 years, Solange Bazely takes you on a tour of the places in Toulouse where the presence of singer and composer Carlos Gardel (1890-1935) left its mark, telling anecdotes about his artistic life, reading poems, documents, testimonials from the city of Toulouse and also letting you listen to the voice and compositions of Carlos Gardel!
Information and tickets:
• The meeting point will be given to you after registration, in the Compans Caffarelli district. The tour ends at Place du Capitole.
