A 10-hour masterclass to sing tango with Sandra Rumolino and Vidal Rojas.
The Toulouse CRR has been hosting tango music and singing classes as part of the Tangopostale festival since 2014. This year we are offering a singing masterclass with Sandra Rumolino and Vidal Rojas, a great guitar maestro whose accompaniment will guide the trainees throughout the workshop. Several rooms will be available at the CRR.
Sandra and Vidal run various workshops in France and have a great success with participants. The workshop is structured around the interaction between technical singing, the rhythmic elements specific to tango and the interpretation of the text.
Singing tango with Sandra Rumolino: vocal technique, rhythm and interpretation
• Building your "vocal scale", understanding it and putting it into practice
• How to visualise vocal and body work effectively and solidly.
Each student chooses one or two themes to work on in agreement with the teacher and accompanist.
Groups of 7 to 10 students maximum, divided into 2 working groups on the first day, then all together on the second day, for a total of 10 hours of group and individual work.
Places are limited and we advise you to book as soon as possible. The list of pieces will be sent to you as soon as you register.
